Bikes!!!

Ha, so I did ultimately delete my last blog post...Seemed unrealistic to post about closure on that one!

In other news, Terry and I finally splurged a couple of nights ago and bought mountain bikes!  Terry's has a little seat attached for Ryan--who might I add, absolutely LOVES it--and his has a lot more gears than mine.  We were initially going to just get Terry a bike to ride on the trail while I rollerblade, but as we were waiting for someone to come get the one down that he picked out, I noticed the cutest pink, white and black bike and may have mentioned said cuteness to Terry, and of course he spoils me rotten so he got it for me :)

Yesterday when he got home from work, we loaded up Ryan and my bag containing my blades and we set out for Waterfront Park.  I was a little wobbly at first, but like everyone says, you never really forget to how to ride a bicycle and I picked it back up in no time.  When we got to the park, Terry played with Ryan while I bladed and we did the same again tonight (of course we got to see deer and wild turkeys tonight).  I'm totally sore but love it!  All these years I've been with Terry and I finally get to share in something he loves to do.  I also love riding behind him and seeing Ryan's little red helmet and hearing him yell back "Mama!! Whatcha doin??!" It's almost too much cuteness to handle ;)

We're hoping for an Atlanta visit in February, so fingers crossed.  I really want to see everyone...still wish I could convince everyone to move HERE!  Not to worry, I haven't given up trying yet ;)
